Christmas markets are held every year in different cities all over France. During these events, people usually walk around the market to enjoy its distinctive atmosphere, buy local delicacies and appreciate a cup of hot wine. Christmas markets are a way for people to meet and spend time together in a festive environment.

 

Shymbulak's Christmas market has been imagined around this existing tradition, but with a Kazakh twist. Indeed, local Almaty food stalls will accompany French cuisine, and performances mixing both French and Kazakh music have been prepared for this occasion.
